The WGA President is "elected" by a tiny Board of Directors and by its teamster Executive Director David Young and by its lawyer Tony Segall. The "leadership" is composed of producers like John Wells and Patric Verrone, who made 16 Executive Producer deals after the year-long (actual length) shut down in 2007-2008. Only the producers at the WGA, and the owners of the Studios, profit during a Writer's Guild Strike. Read what these "writers" really write, and it looks like words of doom for the true freelance workers in LA, NY and elsewhere...Notice the WGA no longer has any kind of "person" quoted when they strike; it's just a "WGA" made up of parasites.
